This Cookie Policy explains how Cloud Inn Pty Ltd (“Cloud Inn”, “we”, “us” or “our”), the Australian company that owns and operates the BitOculus product, uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and analytics dashboard (together, the “Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes more broadly how we handle personal information.
To be clear: this policy is about cookies used on our website and dashboard only. The BitOculus sensor installed in physical venues does not use cookies, does not store video footage and does not identify individuals. You can read more about how the sensor works in our Privacy Policy.

They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences and to provide information to site operators. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage, which we refer to collectively as “cookies” in this policy.

3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the Site to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They include cookies that keep you signed in to the analytics dashboard (authentication and session cookies issued by our backend provider, Supabase), cookies that protect forms against abuse (issued by our captcha provider when you submit the waitlist form) and cookies used for security and load balancing. Without these cookies, services you have asked for cannot be provided.
3.2 Preference cookies
These cookies remember choices you make so we can provide a more personal experience, such as your preferred theme (light or dark mode) and your language or locale. If you disable these cookies, the Site will still work but your preferences will not be remembered between visits.
3.3 Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site — for example, which pages are visited most often and whether visitors encounter errors. The information collected is aggregated and used to improve the Site. We do not use analytics cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell information collected through cookies.

- Captcha provider: we use a Turnstile-style captcha service to protect our forms from automated abuse. The provider may set cookies to perform its bot-detection checks.

- Hosting and backend infrastructure: our hosting and backend providers (including Supabase) may set cookies needed for security, performance and session management.
